One day a tourist wanted to take pictures of the National
Monument in Indonesia. He was only a kilometres away and could already see the
top of the monument from where he was standing.
Since he was very tired after walking all day, he decided
to take a trishaw (becak in Indonesian). The trishaw driver wanted three
hundred rupiahs for the ride. The tourist thought this too much and said,
“That’s too much!” He pointed to the top of the monument and added, “You can
already see it from here.”

“Yes sir,” the trishaw driver replied, “you can see it
from here all right, but you can also see the moon from here.”
