#003 Farsighted Sky

(Finally...I have saved enough money to go there...to the building that I have been wanting to go..)

It was the tallest building in the city...it stood 50 storeys tall. One needed to pay quite a lot of money to get in there. George Sky was his name. He was a poor man that works as construction worker. You would see him easily on high places in the city...Sky was a name given by his friends because of his habit of liking to be on high places...

The tallest building was an international hotel which was built in the middle of a lake in the city....

That night..Sky was standing on the top level of the building...looking around the city...excitement filled him, to get more excitement he decided to stand on the edge of the building...out of the sudden a strong wind blew him off the roof....

"hey are you okay?" a man slapped Sky's face..

"ahhh he is out of his mind jumping from the top...probably he is dead now, “another man spoke..

Suddenly Sky vomited water from his mouth...he managed to regain consciousness....but his vision was not as usual...it's blurry and seemed like he couldn’t focus his sight...He asked one of his friend to bring him to doctor...

The doctor checked Sky’s eyes and said that there was no problem with Sky’s eyes..

"Maybe you are shocked by the incident...go home and take a rest..I’m sure your eyes will be okay in a few days."

Sky still felt weird about his eyes...he remembered when he fell...he didn’t close his eyes...he thought he only fell from a few stories since he could see the water level clearly...

Exhausted, he fell asleep...

The next day Sky woke up he was shocked as if his bed was taller from the ground than before...but soon the distance between the ceiling and him getting further....he soon realised that it wasn’t his bed getting taller or the ceiling getting lower but it was his eyes....he could expand his eyesight...

Sky could see clearly his friend doing exercise at his room a few kilometres away... he could see clearly the aeroplane flying over his head...

Feeling lucky as he was gifted with such eyes, Sky decided to make use of it for good purposes.

So Sky decided to open a spy agency to earn money...the agency was managed by himself...It was named ‘Far Eye’

Sky’s agency went famous in a short period of time....he helped women who wanted to find out whether her partner was having affair, he helped the search of lost people, and so on...

As Sky earned much money, he decided to live in the top of a block which was 25 storeys tall...the first night he moved to that apartment...he saw a very gorgeous girl in the opposite building of his block, a block where all the rich people stayed...every night he looked at that girl...Interested, one day he decided to stretch his 'gifted' ability to see the computer of that girl while she was chatting...So he had her email address...

Sky started chatting with that girl via email...so he found out that the girl was a daughter of a top military officer...her name was Emily. Sky shared his interesting stories that happened when he was doing investigation of his clients that made Emily filled with joy, laughter and sometimes fear.

Having spent so much time together and feeling good towards each other, soon they became a couple...

Only Emily knew that Sky had such an ability to see hundred times further than a normal human..

One day Emily's dad, Jack, told her that he was going to attack terrorist’s main base that has been found out by CIA...

It worried her so much that she decided to ask for Sky's help....Sky accepted her request willingly...Having known that Sky had such 'eyesight', Jack decided to teach Sky how to use sniper with laser device... Because Sky is familiar with the sniper’s zooming and because he is a fast learner, he shot quite good with sniper in two days.

So the day came, Jack and his army went to war the terrorists. They needed to take down the terrorist’s outer post to get into the main base. There were two outer posts that needed to be taken down. Sky was on the helicopter using his sniper far away from the radar of the terrorist...the zoom of that sniper was not enough to view the first outer post of the terrorist...but with Sky's eyesight it was made possible..

"Hey...the sky is very clear today...not even a single cloud..." said one of the terrorist at the defense tower looking at the sky...

*BANG*...he was shot dead out of nowhere...
 

The terrorists inside the first outer post were panic....some of them were ordered to defend the base and some other were ordered to inform the main base...

It was an easy win in the first outer post because the terrorists were not prepared for that attack; there was no victim in this war...

The Terrorist leader, after he was explained, was confused about what happened at the first outer post...

"We could have detected anything between our radar...and how come we could not see what attacked us.” Said the terrorist leader angrily

So the terrorist leader commanded some of his underlings to hide themselves outside the radar coverage of the main base, somewhere around the second outer post. They were ordered not to show themselves until they found out what was used by the anti-terrorist army to win the war in the first outer post easily

The Anti-terrorist army marched to the second outer base. The helicopter that Sky used was quite far away, somewhere at the first outer base.

"Shoot the guards at the defense tower." Jack ordered Sky.

Sky shot most of the guards in the tower of second outer post as he did in the first outer post.

“Most guards in the tower have been taken down.” Sky reported.

Without the guards in the tower, the anti-terrorist army led by Jack could get through the defence and occupy the second outer post. It was stronger than the first outer post. It was not as easy as the first war; there were a number of victims.

The terrorist leader got more confused. He believed that the anti-terrorist army was using some kind of secret weapon. Therefore he ordered the people he sent out not to came out and wait until they discovered what is the weapon the anti-terrorist army were using and destroyed it.

Two outer posts were taken down in one day. The next day the anti-terrorist army will use the same tactic. They marched to the main base while Sky and the helicopter stayed at the second outer post area. <br>

“Just do what you did yesterday, Sky.” Jack tried to motivate Sky.

“Yes, Sir! I will report if I have taken down the guards in the tower.” Sky replied.

Sky had shot a few of the guards in the tower that protected the main base. However before he could shoot down all the guards in the tower he was found out by the terrorists.

“What you said was true, I can see that there is someone who could shoot all our guards in the tower. I don’t know how he could do that but I am sure he is the one who has taken down our guards,” reported one of the terrorist to the terrorist leader.

“Take him down immediately! He is a big threat to us!” the terrorist leader ordered.

The terrorists began shooting the helicopter.

 "Mayday Mayday,we are being attacked !!" reported the helicopter pilot to Jack.

One of the bullet hit the pilot of the helicopter...The helicopter was going down...Sky decided to jump....But his parachute was torn by enemy’s bullet half way before he reached the ground...

Jack decided to charge the base with all his armies and ordered the medical team and a group of soldiers to find Sky...

The war was tough. Many soldier and terrorists died in the war. The war lasted for a few hours.

In the end, Jack and the anti-terrorist army managed to capture the leader of terrorists. Jack was still worried about Sky. But soon he got news about Sky.

“We have found Sky, he is unconscious and suffer some light injuries, Sir, “reported one of the medical team.

"Bring him to the hospital, Fast !!" Said Jack.

Sky woke up in a ward...Beside him were his friends and Emily. One of his friends asked him to see what's happening outside through the window.

Sky stared out the window...He rubbed his eyes...But he could not see what was happening outside...

"What happens to your eyes?"

"I can’t see what's happening outside..." Sky replied.

Later Sky found out that his eyesight was back to normal....Outside was the military ceremony to award him as a hero in defeating the terrorists....

Not long after that...Sky and Emily get married and live their life together...As a normal human...With a normal eyesight !
